Overview
Michelle is a STEM education champion for properly equipping and building wealth for Black and Brown communities. With 13 years of experience in the nonprofit space, Michelle has dedicated her career to opening doors of opportunity for underrepresented and underserved individuals and communities. Having the philosophy of building and advancing for a cause, Michelle continues her charge as serving as the National Community Initiatives Director for Dream Corps TECH, overseeing tech policy and research initiatives, thought leadership, member engagement, event curation and community partnerships. Michelle specializes in program development and implementation, content creation and producing innovative strategies for viable solutions. Being born and raised in South Florida, and coming from a large Bahamian-American family, Michelle is a xenophile at heart. To fuse her love for interacting cohesively with diverse people and all things tech, Michelle is a Certified Scrum Master with the Scrum Alliance®.
