Overview
Lara Bazelon is a professor at the University of San Francisco School of Law. She holds the Philip and Muriel C. Barnett Chair in Trial Advocacy and is the Director of the Criminal & Juvenile and Racial Justice Clinics. Her scholarship focuses on ethics, advocacy, and restorative justice. She is the author of Rectify: The Power of Restorative Justice After Wrongful Conviction (Beacon Press 2018). Her op-eds, essays, and long form journalism has been published in the New York Times, The Washington Post, The Atlantic Magazine, The Los Angeles Times, and other media outlets. She has also appeared on CNN, MSNBC, Fox, Good Morning America, and The Tamron Hall Show.
