Since completing my PhD in Higher Education with a focus racial justice and equity in school and sport, I have spent the last 5+ years:
* Educating athletes and the sports community to tackle discrimination, champion social justice and improve race relations.
* Collaborating with school athletic departments (middle, high, and college), youth sports organizations (Boys & Girls Clubs,
Police Athletic Leagues, etc.), and professional leagues and teams (NBA, NFL, NHL, etc.) to provide multifaceted programs
that empower participants to be leaders in discussing and addressing matters of racism, prejudice, diversity and inclusivity.
* Developing leadership curriculum that increases awareness, builds skills, and creates safe spaces for difficult conversations.
* Training administrators, coaches and athletes to facilitate DEI curriculum with their teams, schools and communities.
* Evaluating data (participant satisfaction, knowledge, attitudes and skills) to identify best practices and establish trends.
